Vitamin water is basically water that has been enhanced with vitamins. Some vitamin water may have a higher concentration of one particular vitamin or it could be an even mix of everything we need in one day. Of course, one bottle will not give everything we need but it certainly helps. Vitamin water typically comes in various size bottles like regular drinking water but more times than not, it is also flavored and the water may take on that color to go along with the flavor. For example, orange flavored vitamin water would most likely be colored orange. There are a number of companies selling vitamin water and it can be bought almost anywhere that regular water can be purchased such as convenience stores, grocery stores, health food stores, drug stores and department stores. It is important for people to realize that one cannot rely solely on vitamin water to deliver all the vitamins and nutrients they need throughout the course of a day. It should be seen as an easy and quick way to get some of what they need but other things like eating healthy and taking supplements should not take a back burner. Drinking water is also detrimental to overall health so when one does drink vitamin water, they are getting their needed hydration and some of their daily needed vitamins. Vitamin water is great for when you have a cold of the flu to and many people drink it when they are traveling to ensure they maintain their health while flying or when they are in different countries where viruses may be common.

It is possible to take too much of a good thing as well so it is a good idea to monitor your intake of these vitamins to ensure that you are not getting too much of one thing or another. You should also do research on the company of the water you want to drink as well because some have been found to lie about how much vitamins are in their water and some may not be beneficial at all. Stick with reputable companies that you are familiar with if possible.
