Some cleansing products are too harsh and it may take a little experimentation to find one that works well for you and leaves your skin feeling clean yet soft and smooth.Find a good exfoliate to cleanse the pores and use it regularly. Search for a moisturizer with good balance for your skin. Dry harsh weather can overly dry skin, which can lead to premature aging of the skin. Apply a moisturizer daily to keep skin moist, soft and supple.

Eat enough protein and fish to rebuild skin tissue and keep it healthy. If you work on eating the right foods and maintain a healthy diet, you are on your way to good skin health. Skin takes a lot of abuse from the sun, wind, cold and heat. Supplying the body with the right foods is key to replenishing and refreshing the look and feel of your skin. Make sure you eat sufficient quantities of lean meats and include a minimum of three meals weekly containing fish.

Increase your intake of omega-3 fatty acids by eating fish that are particularly high in healthy omega-3 fats. Select a variety of fish to make meals tasty and keep your interest. Try making recipes with tuna, cod, salmon and mackerel, which are fish containing some of the highest amounts of omega-3 fatty acids. Halibut, sole, flounder, oysters, pollock, and shrimp also offer good protein and fair amounts of omega-3 fats.
Step 5
Consume plenty of vegetables and nuts daily for good skin health. Look for vegetables high in vitamin C and A. These vitamins are great for reducing inflammation, improving the metabolism and strengthening skin. Snack on healthy nuts such as hazelnuts, pecans and walnuts, which also contain high amounts of omega-3 fatty acids. Look for foods that contain vitamin E or consider a daily supplement for vitamin E. Almonds contain high levels of vitamin E and are also a natural antioxidant, which helps to fight against skin cancer, inflammation and aging skin health.

Try adding a bit of green tea into your diet. Green tea is filled with antioxidants offering antiaging properties and helps to lessen skin inflammation for good skin health. Vitamin B6 and vitamin C are both found in broccoli and are a great addition to healthy diets and skin health. Drink a minimum of eight glasses of water daily.
