The previous price was $4,497 which had been $5193 previously. The average selling price of the Superbowl tickets this year was $2750 falling over a hundred dollars from last year’s record high of $2942. The highest ticket buyers were people from New York City and New Jersey. Fans from Indiana only made about 5% of the buyers. The lowest ticket that was bought this year went for $1400; it was sold via StubHub just before the start of the playoffs. The highest purchased ticket was bought by a New York fan who bought it for $13,530 who bought it for the club level at the 50 yard line.
