Introduction
Jamaica is surrounded by the Caribbean Sea and is well known for its white sandy beaches. There are several beach in Jamaica. One can relax on the Doctor's Cave Beach which is located along Gloucester Avenue in Montego Bay. This is known as one of the most famous beaches in Jamaica. It is an attraction for the rich and the famous. The water is known to contain minerals, and the beach was named after a doctor. This beach Jamaica has been around for neary a century. Walter Fletcher Beach is located in the heart of the tourist capital in Montego Bay. There is also Treasure Beach which is located in a fishing village on a deserted southern coast. One can have a spectacular view when the sun sets at sunset beach. Most of the beaches in Jamaica charge an entry fee. Most foreigners go to the islands of Jamaica just for vacation, and there is nothing more relaxing than to bask in the sun and to enjoy the crashing of the waves and the cool breeze. It is usually fun to watch the kids collecting sea shells on the beach and making sand castles.
History
Sometimes there will be vendors on the beaches selling their wares, which include craft items, corals or T-shirts. It's a refreshing feeling to have an ice cold jelly or coconut and to sip it with a straw. As with all beaches, if one cannot swim then one should not go far into the water. One can wade in the water, and lifeguards are provided at many Jamaica beach locations. Sweet reggae music can be heard playing on the beaches in Jamaica making the visit more relaxing and enjoyable. The currency used in Jamaica is the Jamaican dollar, but as a visitor most companies will accept whatever currency you have, or you can use a Visa or Mastercard. It is rather intersting to know that Ian Fleming, the man who created the famous "James Bond," used to live at the Golden Eye Hotel in Ohio Rios. The James Bond Beach is also located on the property. There is a private beach in Jamaica known as the Crusoe beach, for a nice romantic getaway.
Features
The most loved beach of all in Jamaica is the Dunn's River Falls, a place with waterfalls, It is close to Ocho Rios and is by far the best tourist attraction. It will be a challenging adventure to climb the falls, but there will be tour guides to help you along the way. You can even bring your own tour guide. The beach is nearby to the falls, so after climbing the treacherous rocks you can lay on the sands ad bask in its glory or go snorkeling. Whatever you decide to do, it will be nothing but fun in the sun. It's usuallly more enjoyable to go to the beach with someone, such as a relative or friend or your spouse. Spending a day at beach Jamaica is wonderful experience.
