How To Travel To St Beach

Introduction

St Beach, more commonly referred to as St. Pete Beach, is located on the gulf coast of Florida. St beach is made up of miles of beautiful white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, and lots of fun things to see and do. This is a great place to vacation as a couple, with family, or even as a getaway on your own. If you want to take a relaxing, peaceful beach vacation in the sunshine state, look no further than St. Pete Beach.

Step 1

If you are visiting St beach from Florida, you can get here by driving. This gulf coast beach is easily accessible from major highways. No matter where in Florida you are coming from, you can take interstate 275 to get to St. Pete Beach. From the north, you will want to take interstate 275 south and follow signs for St. Pete Beach. From the south, you can take interstate 75 north to 275 and continue to follow signs. If coming from the east coast, I-4 will bring you across the state, where you can then pick up 275 south to bring you to St. Pete Beach.

Step 2

If you are traveling to St beach from out of state, there are a few ways in which you can get here. The most common and fastest way to get here is to take an airplane. You can get to St beach by flying from your local airport to St. Petersburg Clearwater International Airport, also known as P.I.E. This is a somewhat small airport but brings in thousands of visitors from around the world every day. Another airport that is not too far away is Tampa International Airport. Depending on where you are flying from, travel times could take one hour to several hours.

Step 3

Another way that you can travel to St beach from out of state is by driving. Not everyone enjoys flying, so driving is a great option. Although driving typically takes much longer than flying, you will get to enjoy all of the scenery on your way down to St. Pete Beach in Florida. If you are coming from the north eastern states, I-95 is the most common road to travel down on. This is one straight road that you can take until you get to Florida. You will then want to get onto I-4 west and take that until 275 south. Directions from your state can easily be mapquested.

Step 4

You may consider traveling by bus to get to St beach. Bus is one of the cheapest means on transportation but can take a while if it needs to make other stops. You are also limited with the amount of luggage that you can bring with you on a bus. Buses only make necessary stops, so if this is the way that you would like to travel, you will need to be prepared to be sitting for a long time with people that you do not know.

Step 5

Amtrak is another great transportation option for getting to St beach. Amtrak travels from Amtrak and continues all the way down the east coast to Florida. You can depart your Amtrak train in Tampa, Florida. From here, St. Pete Beach is only about a 30 minute drive. After renting a car or getting a cab, you can take 275 south directly to St. Pete Beach.
