Specially trained pilots are required to make this extreme airport adventure landing and only in the best weather conditions and during the day light hours. If you make a safe landing you will have the beautiful Himalayans to enjoy.
Svalbard Airport, Norway
Svalbard Airport, Norway is located between Norway and the North Pole and is able to boast being the most northern airport with public flights. This area is too cold for boats transportation. The landing was created in 1959 when a sick resident needed to flown to Norway for medical care.
