V football is one of the oldest type of sports in history. It is a game played on a field of 160 feet including both the boundary lines and the end lines. The end zone includes the goal line during play, and the the end zone is about 19 yards.
On the field of play, each team has a total number of 11 players on the field and about 56 players are allowed to be in the roaster list. The players are divided into some specific roles like the offense, defense, and special teams. Apart from all these, v football has a lot of technical rules. One beautiful thing about the game is the simplicity in its technicality. There are also a lot of strategy in playing the game. Its not neccesary to learn the game, but is can be very rewarding.
There are a lot of things you need to konw about v football, its a game of determination and focus. There are somethings that will be explained to you in this article. But first, you need to know the basics. It may seem its going to take a lot of effort, but just persevere till the end.
THE PLAYS
In v football, you don’t have to get all the touchdown all in one shot. The only thing you can do is to walk all round the field. Each time you move a ball on the field of play, its called a PLAY.
A play starts with when the ball is been hiked and when the motion of the ball falls. When this happens, it is called an incomplete pass. An incomplete pass means when the ball goes out of bounds and then the person with the ball falls flat on the ground. There are special rules that are associated with a play, but before we look into it, lets us look into THE KICKS.
THE KICKINGS
This happens when you get a ball and you start with 4 tries to move the ball 10 yards. Incase you succeed in moving it 10 yards, you will get four more downs. What this means is that you fail and the other team gets the ball.
On each down, the offense side is given a minute to start the play. Failure to do so will lead to a penalty. In the game of v football, there are different types of kicks. Kicking the ball to the opponent’s goal post is called a field goal. Then kicking the ball to the other team is called a PUNT.
In kicking, when the other team tries to kick the ball, they are attacked by the other team and then both teams try to struggle for the ball. Most of the time, the ball is usually placed at the nearset 20 yard line.
The game of v football normally begins with a KICKOFF. One funny thing about kickoffs is that the you are limited to the way you play. What this means is that anytime you kick a ball, you may wnat to catch it before the other team picks it up. This unconscious process is called ‘’on side kick’’. This process iw very risky for the team, you can only do it when you are desperate for a goal.
THE TIME FRAME
In v football, the time stops on an incomplete pass and when the ball goes out of bounds, the other team gets the ball. The timeout is usually monitored by the two teams.
