History
Mr. Dog James started his coaching career in Washington football in the Pacific Coast Conference. He was very enthusiastic and had great ideas in his mind. In 1984, the Huskies opened the Washington football season with the record of 9-0 which included 20-11 game win at number 4 Michigan at the Michigan Stadium. They were invited to play in the Orange Bowl with the Oklahoma Sooners. The game became famous due to Sooner Schooner incident. The driver of Sooner Schooner did not check the flag and drove the wagon on game field. The Huskies team of Washington football became the first winning team from the “Pac-10” and won the Orange Bowl.

In 1990, the Huskies team of Washington football worked for the season with two wins against Purdue and San Jose State. After holding winning awards, the team welcomed the fifth USC ranked football team and achieved 31-0. After one week, the team had a loss from the AP national champions from Colorado. After this defeat, Washington decided to finish this season averaging more than 40 points in a game.

On September 19, 2009, Washington football Huskies team dropped the Number 3 ranked USC Trojans at home. This was the place where they failed to achieve the winning award since 1996.
In October 10, 2009, the Huskies Washington football team hosted the Wildcats of Arizona at home. This was a hot war and the game was really interesting. The scoring went back and forth but at the end they were down, 33-28.
