Keep your air conditioning system in the house at a comfortable 72 degrees Fahrenheit to save on electricity resources as way to be green. Instead, purchase fans to help circulate air in a room where people in the house spend most of their time.

Make your house green by literally planting trees on the outside of the building to block out sunlight.
