Not only you can get rid of expensive gym items nor will you have to go for gym and sweat hard and pay for it too!

Step 1

Ever wondered that you can burn calories by just sitting on the couch and watching TV? Well, yes you can! Studies show that constantly fidgeting while even sitting on the couch helps a lot in burning calories, get yourself pumped up, don't be couch potato, start doing crunches or pushups, home workout can be easy and flexible, challenge yourself that how much pushups you can do in commercials and step by step move to higher reps!

Step 2

Walk as much you can, walking briskly and always opting for walking is another great way to home workout, don't take lifts or escalators, always prefer the manual exercise, and this will help you a lot in getting in shape. Take a walk while you go for laundry, carry your clothes in the basket, take stairs and go for laundry. Walking briskly in your home is evenly good, move around your home with quick pace daily for 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 3

Performing leg lifts at home is another great exercise for home workout, initially you will find it temporary, but don't worry, pain is temporary! If you can't do it, bends your legs slightly!

Step 4

Start doing pushups, yeah, they are tough, but they are tough because they really bring a toll on your chest muscles and helps build strength. 10-12 reps take hardly a minute! You can spare that for your health at least; do 3-4 sets of pushups daily in your home workout. If you are having difficulties, do pushups on your knees then.

Step 5

Start lifting weights, but this doesn't mean that you have to buy equipment for that. You can use things from your home. Like said earlier, home workout is flexible, effective and cheap too. Start with light weights like food cans, liter water bottle, and then move up, lifting water jugs, gallon bottle of water or bucket of water. Lifting weight aids in getting you in shape and acts as a spanner to burn fats.

Home workout requires consistency and commitment, if it was easy everyone would have that build. But with time you’ll start seeing results, keep an eye on diet too, for proper home workout take healthy breakfast with low fat content, take five to six meals in a day with small portions and increase the protein content. Avoid junk food and increase green vegetables and fruits. No doubt with proper diet and exercise you can get in shape and stay healthy for a longer time.
