There after other companies started using the credit cards. Most of these cards were from paper card stock which were easily counterfeited. The concept of customers paying different merchant using the same card was expanded in 1950s. Today card home are used all over the world and have become very useful even to the travellers.

At the back of the card home there is a black strip which is used to swipe when making purchases on the shops and on the ATM Machines. Also available is a four number security for use online. A strip is also available for cardholder to sign. The card issuer’s name and the type of card name is normally displayed at the front of the cards. These cards have secret numbers which are known passwords. These numbers are supposed to secretly kept and used by the cardholder. There are other cards which also have cash in them and are used to make phone calls. They also contain the same features as bank card only that the user has to credit this cards in order to get the air time.
