These societies released the principles and guidelines for the medical home in the region so that they all are serving one purpose to the individuals. The medical home for which these societies provided the guidelines was called the "Patient centered medical home recognition."

The medical homes that follow the guidelines of these societies need to incorporate the principles of patient centered medical homes. Moreover, they need to cover all the aspects of primary care services. Along, with these requirements the medical homes are also required to hire the trained medical staff like nurses and paramedics.

With growing importance of the medical home health, the requirement for trained nurses has also increased in the market. According to a rough estimate in the United States, there are more than 7 million people who require the service of a medical home health nurse. However, to become a medical home-health nurse the individual has to pursue proper education and training from the certified institutions. There are many online institutions, which are offering various courses for the medical home health nurses, but before opting those institutes the students should search for their credibility and certification with a renowned medical Institute. Moreover, there are many home health nurse associations, which also provide many training sessions for the interested personals.
