They must be careful that they are socializing with the right type of people. They dont want to hang around with someone that is going jeopardize their values or their career.

For new attorneys, it is a task to become known and a great way for them to become known in the community is to attend charity events and fundraisers. If the community sees that you are a compassionate person and that you truly care about your community and the people in it they are going to find people like them. Perhaps coaching a minor league baseball team in the summer or helping the local food bank raise badly needed money. These would be good ways for them to gain a good reputation in the community.
