This has led to the infamous distinction of white collar jobs and blue collar jobs; white collar meaning to say that the job is performed in a comfy cubicle or office, while blue collar referring to a job that requires a lot of hard work and manual labor.

More and more people are taking up extremely difficult and dry courses such as that of a Chartered Accountant, but have no clue as to what the job is like. Unless you are genuinely interested in crunching numbers all day, along with no interaction with the outside world until midnight every day, then there is no sane reason why you would want to study or take up a job such as that; even if it is well paying. Take up a job that really interests you; one that you feel excited about when you get up early in the morning. A job that makes work seems like fun. Try to access and exercise the creative part of your mind because it is that part which will enable you to make a choice that even your subconscious will support.
