Introduction
The telecom industry has recently grown at an alarming rate in these past few years. Since the invention of the mobile phone, the telecommunication industries have accelerated in their work and have grown to different parts of the world. Before the entrance of the mobile phone in to the common market, the telephone had been the major source of communication. But now there is large population of people who possess a mobile phone and there are a large number who possess a mobile phone without even a landline connection. With the advancements in the telecommunication department, there have also been a large number of employment opportunities. People from electrical and computer engineering specialties have applied to jobs in these departments. Since the telecommunication departments became such a big success, there have been special degree programs that offer Bachelors in Telecommunication Engineering. People opted for these degrees just so they could get jobs in that market, but after a while large number of people applied for jobs in that sector that it has now saturated to a point where having a degree will not suffice for jobs maintenance in the market.
History
Communication is one of the very few things that have evolved the most since its beginning. Initially the mode of communication would be orally through people. This form evolved into where people would exchange papers with the messages needed to be sent. These message travelers also evolved through time but when Graham Bell introduced the world to electronic communication through a telephone, the world of telecommunication had officially crossed a significant milestone. After the telephone there were many variations to it, but the major notable one was with the invention of the mobile phone that could be used from almost anywhere without any hassle of phone line and other large sets.
The telecommunication sector has always been one of the most preferred sector for employment but with the recent saturation in the job market and the recession, it has made it hard for people in that sector to have jobs maintenance. One of the most important thing in this sector is the different other sectors that have opened up due to this one department. Mobile phones have become increasingly popular although now it’s the era of smart phones rather than mobile phones. Jobs maintenance in any department is a difficult thing. Economies of countries are falling and people are looking for any jobs they can get. It is unfortunate for the Telecommunication engineers that their own field boomed to such a large scale and now has saturated to a point where it has become hard for people’s jobs maintenance. It is becoming increasingly hard for a group of individuals to keep their jobs for a longer duration of time.

For all those people who are about to start their college lives, it is a good idea to select a degree program where the job employment opportunities are very less. Jobs maintenance is becoming increasingly hard and in order to be successful I n life one must try not to constrain one’s self to one line of work only.
