Introduction

From shopping to browsing the web for information, there is always the chance that your privacy is being compromised. For most people, Google is the most popular search engine. However, since March 1, 2012, Google came up with its new and revised privacy terms that essentially means the company can gather information about your browsing activities, suggest relevant sites and news based on your interests. But, it can also go the other way, to track you down for personal information and even profile you based on the sites you visited. But, there is a way to remove your Google browsing history.

Sign-in using your email address and password. Once you are in your email account, look at the right corner on your screen. You should see your name. If you only put your initials, you should see this, too. Click on this using your mouse. You should see the following information: your name, email address, profile, Google+, account settings, and privacy. Select privacy.
Step 2
The next page will show what you do with you Google profile, Google+, account settings and privacy. Scroll down and look at the Privacy section. You should be able to see the Dashboard and the Privacy Center. Click the box that says, Dashboard. You will be asked to sign in again to your Google account. If you have asked your computer to remember your password, it will often say that the password is incorrect. Thus, it is better to re-enter the password to avoid getting the error message.
Step 3
The next page will show details of your Google accounts, profile, analytics, Blogger, and AdSense accounts as well as YouTube videos. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for your Google Web History.

Tips
Using the Web History has several benefits. It is easy to track down pages you have visited before that you didn’t bookmark. You can find back websites that contained information that you used. In addition, your Google Web History will also suggest personalized sites that you can use based on your past searches. However, for people who are not keen on sharing this information, pausing your Google browsing is the best option.
