Introduction
An Email is an electronic mailing system which enables you to communicate to any person over the world provided they have an email account. Many people across the world have resorted to use emails as a means of communication since it is cheap and efficient in that you are assured that your mail will be received by the respondent unlike the letter system. To use an email, you must have signed up to an email account and among them is a Google mail account. Opening up of a Google account is one of the simple things to do. All u need is a computer, access to the internet and then follow the following steps.
Step 1
in order to access google mail, the first thing you will need to do is launch your web browser to the main Google web page which is the starting point of all searches. Type in the words Google account and a new webpage with the results of the search engine will appear. Click on the Google accounts link which will lead you to a web page where you can create the google mail account.

Once you are there fill in the sign up form. To do this Google mail account will ask you a series of questions which you are required to fill correctly. Filling of the form is systematic starting first with your name, date of birth and gender. Google will then provide you with a list of preferred addresses which you will choose from.
Step 3
Key in the password and retype it again to minimize the risks on password error, with the minimum length being 8 letters. Proceed to completing your form by filling in the recovery email, mobile phone number, word verification and your location. Now you are realy close to getting a goole mail account.
Step 4
A term of service checkbox will also appear which you will need to consent to. Ensure that you fill in the entire form since mail Google account will not allow you to proceed to the next step if a blank space is left. Click on the next button on the lower left side of your web page to proceed.
Step 5
Google will verify your password and if the form is correctly filled you will proceed to the next stage, which is creating a profile picture for your Google mail account, otherwise, an error notification will appear in red prints on the location where the error was made. To add the picture click on the link named “ADD PROFILE PICTURE” and upload a photo from your computer memory then click on the next link to go to the next stage.
Step 6
Your form will now be fully submitted and Google will forward an email to your Google mail account with a web address which you must visit to confirm that your account is operational
