The plot of the movie Bye Bye Birdie is interesting which revolves around the singer Conrad Birdie. He is the biggest sensation of the 1960’s and is very popular among girls. Birdie is an Elvis Presley inspired rock star who has been drafted into the army. Before going to the army Birdie’s manager, just for the sake of publicity announces that Birdie before going will kiss one of his randomly chosen fans on a live show after his singing his farewell song. The news drives crazy all of the young girls especially Kim MacAfee from Ohio. She thinks she will be the luckiest girl who will be kissed by the famous singer Birdie and she turns out to be one as well. This is where the story of the move starts. The start of the movie is very interesting. The life of movie star has always fascinated young girls so this movie was attracted by numerous young girls. So when Birdie comes to the tow of Ohio his fans go crazy Rock and roll was introduced in this movie. The climax starts when Kim’s father like a concerned father doesn’t allow his daughter to go to the show to get kissed by a famous rock star. His father does not change his mind until Birdie’s manager tells him about Ed Sullivan. The Ed Sullivan show is shown to be an extremely popular and famous show that is watched by almost whole town. This was the reason Harry MacAfee immediately changes his mind after hearing that the show is none but their own “The Ed Sullivan Show”.

The parents showed a positive response showing their children loved the movie and the music though they had to explain it to their children that it was a movie and it doesn’t exist in real life.
