History
Birdsboro was founded in the year of 1872 and named after William Bird. William Bird was the largest producer of iron during the American Revolution and established the Birdsboro Iron Foundry Company which is located right in the center of Birdsboro. The area of birdsboro is really known for it's machine shops, which unfortunately are all closed now a day.
