Breast augmentation surgery has become very controversial nowadays. It has drawn lots of attention from various types of individuals. These women would feel very conscious of the appearance of their breasts. Fortunately, there is augmentation surgery that could help repair these congenital defects and improve their overall posture.
  • Poland’s syndrome e chest muscle that is visible on a certain side of the body. Severe cases of such syndrome can involve the total absence of a breast in the affected side of the body. Milder situations of such disorder can involve a breast that is smaller to the other. Augmentation surgery is the only solution to treat the symptoms of such congenital defect.

Disadvantages:

  • There are risks involved in the augmentation surgery procedures. Breast augmentation usually involves implants using objects such as saline and silicon. These objects are foreign to the body, which could make them hazardous to your health. The risk of rejection of these objects is very high. Your body’s immune system could reject and attack these implants. They would attempt to remove these objects in various ways that could lead to infection and other complications.
  • Another disadvantage of augmentation surgery procedure is its cost. The initial costs for breast implants are very costly nowadays. These implants also do not last forever. They need to be replaced after ten years of the initial cosmetic operation.
