Introduction
Port Credit is located at the foot of the Credit River near Lake Ontario in Ontario, Canada. This area exists in south central Mississauga which is found in the west of Toronto in Ontario. A lighthouse was built over here in 1882 and this was used by sailors until 1918. A fire destroyed this lighthouse in 1936. A replica of that lighthouse can be found today in Port Credit.
