Strayer University (a.k.a. SU) has been educating students for more than 115 years now. Not only does it have a location in Jacksonville but it also has numerous other locations throughout the United States as well.

Kaplan College (a.k.a. KHE) prides itself in teaching its students skills that are relevant in a lot of today’s fast-growing employment areas. There are several different types of tuition assistance that you may be able to qualify for here.

Everest University offers numerous different career education and degree programs. Besides business, they also offer programs in accounting, paralegal, criminal justice and health care. This school has 10 different campuses located throughout the state of Florida.

Keiser University also offers an accredited business degree program. They also offer programs in healthcare, technology, paralegal, nursing and legal studies.

Edward Waters College is one of the Jacksonville universities that has dorm rooms (enough for 584 students). They also offer distance learning and will give you credit for any previous experience that you may have. Both AP and remedial services are also available, as well as career counseling and placement assistance once you graduate.

Florida Community College offers many programs for its 24,939 students to choose from. These classes are available via regular classes, weekend classes and distance learning. You can also get credit for any previous experience that you may have or take either AP or remedial courses. Upon graduation you will receive career counseling and placement assistance. This is one of the few Jacksonville universities that offers on-campus daycare and the opportunity to study abroad.

Jacksonville University also offers numerous programs for their 3,212 students to choose from. Of these 3,212 students 1,595 stay in dorms on the campus. However, distance learning, credit for any previous experience that you may have and AP credits are also available.
