All the files and programs are stored in RAM but when there is not enough space these files are stored in temporary memory called a paging file. This information is known as virtual memory.

Memory loss can be prevented when running fewer programs at a time. Ways to prevent memory loss are by increasing the windows paging file size. You can increase it up manually up to the determined size. You can install more RAM that is compatible with your previous one. To determine which program is using the most memory open the task manager, right click the taskbar and then click the start task manager. Click the process tab and then click memory.

Memory loss is a major problem with computers. Every computer has its own RAM; the person has to use it efficiently. In order to prevent loss of memory do not open too many programs at one time, as this will make your PC slow or will hang. Next add a new RAM or upgrade it and all components should be at the same voltage. There are many hidden applications and processes running that cause the memory loss. If you can remove these files then the speed of a computer increases.
